This show, like all the others I’ve seen from them, forces me to to confront things that words don’t exist for. Truly healing. Takk.

    recordando a mis muertos. reconectando.
couldn’t hold back old tears and tears of hope.
    love intertwined.
    landscapes,
    and the music… takk!

An incredible event, masterfully thought out and executed. It’s obvious that music is the passion of all the people on the stage. I’ve seen Sigur Ros before and this is an absolute must if you’re a fan. A beautiful evening I’ll remember for a lifetime.

Every time I see Sigur Rós live I’m reminded how how immersive and haunting their music can be. Seeing them with a full orchestra was a truly magical experience. Takk!

SR occupies the space better hope and heartbreak. Last night was certainly no exception. Takk fyrir alla tónlistina.

it was 2016, I was homesick.. and by pure luck or chance- up popped a rendition of Olsen Olsen on my social media feed because somebody else I follow had liked it. Within seconds I knew I was irreversibly in love, and that I had found music that resonated with my emotions no matter the language. I learnt so much about volenska in the following years and I dream about the day I’ll listen to Hoppipola while strolling past fjords in Iceland. But this will do for now- my first time listening to them live- a memory to cherish forever.

This was my 8th time seeing Sigur Rós live and it was amazing as always! May the band enjoy some much deserved rest after this tour. I was very fortunate to bump into Jónsi the day after the concert, and spoke briefly with him and took a photo together – he was so kind! In the moment I couldn’t think straight, but I hope Jónsi and the band reads this. Thank you so much for creating your music. I hope the process of making music continues to be enjoyable and healing. Your music has been a companion of mine for many years, it has a way of awakening a higher self – and feeling grateful for being alive and listen to such incredible sounds. Please take care. All the best

  • I’ve seen the group a handful of times over the years: as a full band with different lineups, as a trio, and now with the Wordless Music Orchestra. I was fully weeping by the midway point of the second song for the show in Boston & didn’t let up the rest of the night. These guys are masters of their craft, constantly pushing boundaries and tapping into the human condition in ways words can’t adequately articulate. Anytime these guys are in the US, I’m catching the tour.

My daughter and I traveled from Orono Maine to attend this concert. It was a life changing experience. The music vibrated through my body and soul and l left feeling like a new person. The music was perfectly and exquisitely performed. It was a gift to hear the music performed live. Thank you to the amazing musicians who made this happen.
