Didn’t think it was possible but I thought it was even better than the Beacon. Absolutely magical. I feel so privileged to have been there.
So if anyone’s got video of the finale…phew.
tad bit long but experienced some wow moments especially Jonsi’s soaring vocals accompanied by the brass section of the orchestra. Also some sound miscues early but near perfect over the rest of show. Hats off to venue which was easy to access and be seated. only gripe is those damn late comers – what’s with those Manhattanites!
I am so grateful to have been able to attend this magical performance. I was mesmerized from start to finish. It is something I will never forget. To attend with my daughter made it even better.
The best Sigur Rós. Sublime, perfection, out of this world….
one of the best evenings of my life. I made a promise a couple of years ago: I was going to attend every Sigur Ros concert near me. And I did it! Never had a dissapointment, in fact… everytime I see them, they surprise me. Jonsi, you are from another planet. I hope I get to see your every year to come!
