So I run to Lisbon to attend to your first european date. And after in Paris were I could share this deep experience with my son. And now in streaming for the last show in Iceland, with the added pleasure to share it with fans from all the world in the chat.
This tour was incredible. It’s more than music. It is not rational. It speaks to our unconscious. Ìt is pur emotion.
Now we have to live with the lack. So I can’t wait to receive my deluxe boxset of () 20th anniversary edition and I’ll continue to listen to your albums while waiting for the next one ;)
Wellcome home

Robyn Alexandra Starr Doughty
says:What can I say? I was watching the stream, a part of the stream? The concert was fantastic, cannot praise their performance enough, it was just magical as always, with added emotions thanks to Amiina and Braasgat I bala, Ny Battery sounded absolutely booming, and Andvari was an emotional rollercoaster, with Amiina doing justice to that song, it was a stupendous occasion, and the live stream chatroom was lovely also, a real sense of togetherness, which is something we all need in these post covid times.
With only seeing the band live for real just 2 weeks ago, to be part of this show in any way was an absolute pleasure, and it really was, what an amazing show, and the boys performed their heart out with this one, clearly enjoying themselves.
Big up to everyone involved, from the roadies, those in production, and Darren who does the socials, top fella, and to Sigur Ros…
I try to convey in words what your music really means to me, but most of the time words get in the way, so I will wail angelically like Jonsi, and you will get the point…. I adore Sigur Ros, TAKK xoxoxox
Marco
says:Flying from Italy to tour this amazing island and have the opportunity to see you guys performing in your home country had been my dream for 20 years. Definitely the best birthday present I could make myself. Fifth concert but probably the best I ever attended
Love from Rome
Philippa Ryder
says:Soaring, beautiful, wonderful – how do I describe the emotions that ran through me as I sat at home in a darkened room with a glass of wine, in tears of joy. Having seen you three times before in Dublin this was truly special. Will it be released on DVD? Takk and have a wonderful Christmas
Yoke Saggar
says:Really really enjoyed it …, saw SR in Amsterdam 3 weeks ago , but this one topped it off …., beautiful!! Very curious though how many people watched the livestream!
Phoebe
says:Thank you so much for making this tour accessible to your fans who were unable to attend any of the concerts. In my case it’s because I’m housebound due to chronic illness/disability. I thought my last ‘in-person’ Sigur Rós concert (December 2017 Reykjavík) was going to be my last ever Sigur Rós concert, so I was delighted when I heard you were live streaming your Reykjavík show. So few bands take advantage of live streaming (outside of lockdowns), thus cutting off a larger-than-you’d-think section of disabled fans from accessing live music. Whatever your reason for doing so, you allowed your fans who live in permanent lockdown to participate in your live shows, and the value of that is tremendous. Thank you.
Marco
says:An amazing tour. For me the beatiful time in Milan and yesterday with the heart in Iceland end with the body in streaming for another wonderful night.
Stefán
says:Very good show, Óbó kicked ass and so did the guests
Sirje Põder

Laurent from Nantes !
says:Thank you for these special moment with your sensibility.
We saw you at lisboa (the first date of your european tour), and yesterday at your home, after a week visiting for the second times, and hiking in your country.
Cords and the brass and the youth of a music school was amazing !
I hope there will be a record of the show !
Long life !
Yoan
says:Thank you for your music, the most beautiful I’ve had the chance to listen to.
Matt CP
says:Incredible concert and what a way to end the tour. Wonderful having Kjartan back in the band. Our 7th time seeing them live since 2008 and quite possibly the best. Travelled from the UK and easily worth it. Thanks so much for an unforgettable evening. Takk.
Jill
says:Takk, Takk, Takk Sigur Ros!!! For those of us who could not be with you in Reyjkavik last night the livestream was fantastic!! It was a brilliant performance and the livestream audio was so good I can only jmagine how mesmerizing it must have been for those attending in person. Sending thanks and love from Northern California, USA. ❤️❤️❤️
Heiko Niesen

says:See you soon Sigur Ros <3

says:Welcome home after – how many months touring ?
We attended the concert in Vorst Nationaal in Brussels, Belgium and again I was overwhelmed by the beauty of your music (first time live same venue 2017)
I decided to buy a ticket for the live-stream but only got to watch yesterday (and today)
I can never find the right words to describe your concerts. For me they are out of this world, almost alien.
It’s really hard to land back on earth after witnessing a Sigur Ros concert.
You have put Iceland yet again on my bucketlist. We were there 9 years ago (ten next year, time for a ‘remastered’ visit :-) )
Aaron Paulson
says:8,792 kilometres from Reykjavik but Saturday morning at 4am (Tokyo time) we crossed that distance at the speed of livestream and were in the concert stadium with you and your thousands of friends, family, and fans. We’ve seen you live from Tokyo to England to Reykjavik (Nidur og Nordur), but this is the first livestream performance, in the front row and from the back. This time: what a show! True, we did not feel the physical presence of being there in person – the cool mist that blows before and between sets; the electric anticipation that runs through the waiting audience – but we did get a whole new perspective on one of our favourite parts of your live shows: the visuals! Every concert, you always have a video light show which adds a new dimension to your live performance.
Speaking of live performance: it was great to see and hear Amina again! The first time I saw them on stage with you, I understood why some people believe in Iceland faeries are real :-) Adding Brassgat also brought a new dimension to the show, as did one of the highlights of the performance: the accompaniment of a local high school marching band! Yesterday’s gig must be the highlight of their young musical lives, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the next Sigur Ros was molded from that experience!
We were sad not to see you live in Reykjavik, but nothing could beat the Nidur og Nordur experience in Harpa. And there’s always next time. We’ll for sure see you the next time you come through Tokyo, and, hopefully, the next time you play in Reykjavik.
Cheers,
Aaron in Tokyo
Peter van der Heijden
says:Again a performance of a not of this world feeling and imaging Great soundbalance and top notch performance! Please release this performance a.s.ap. on Blu-ray to reexperience this phenomenal performance once more & over again in a great surround mix! Takk. Take care !
Neil Leigh
says:Just magical to watch on the livestream. Lucky enough to attend in person at Manchester and Nottingham – this tour has been sublime in every way and Friday was the perfect finale. Hopefully the concert could be released as a DVD – such a special occasion. Cannot wait for the new album. Takk
Athena
says:Suddenly, half day before the concert, you took me up to register, I difn’t even realized until then tou had that concert. I realized the perfection of the present moment, a reciprocal ‘welcome home’. I’m listening again this recordings of that magical and deep concert. Takk, and most of all, I truly hope you to create the downloadable live concert of exactly that night. It shouldn’t stop the time-access to it! You arr loved and blessed! Hope to see you again around the world.
Rumi
says:It was a hot summer night when I saw your performance in Tokyo 3 months ago, but yesterday’s live stream brought me back the exact excitement of that night.
Thank you so much for the occasion to experience the show again even with Amiina, Brassgat í bala and all Icelandic people’s faces from young to older.
I was introduced to your music when I met my husband 20 years ago, we went to see your concert in 2003 as our first concert together.
Since then we saw your performances many times luckily, but this year’s performance was so special to make me believe that the world your music creates, is unchanged and always there for us no matter what happens to the real world.
Takk fyrir for all the power your music gives us. Please have a very good rest with friends and families and we look forward to hearing the new album soon!
Tom Griffen
says:What a glorious experience! We flew from North Carolina, USA to Reykjavik to see this show and it was sooooo worth it! As always, Sigur Ros etched a transformative performance of sound and light. How charmed we were to be a face in the crowd. As we left the arena, a blanket of green and pink northern lights were dancing over the city, as if still resonating with the music. Such a magical evening.
JOSEPH SEGURA
says:Sitting here in New Mexico USA watching again the final show in Iceland before the cut off. SPECTACULAR PERFORMANCE.
THANK YOU SIGUR ROS FOR MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE. THANK YOU FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED IN MAKING THIS TOUR HAPPEN BEAUTIFULLY……
PICTURE IS FROM SHOW IN AMSTERDAM 11/01/22

says:Lost for words… comments are reflecting what I´m thinking. Thanks, thanks, thanks. Just rewatched it again and wonder if there´ll be a DVD to follow. Thanks again and enjoy your days off. :)

says:Will you make the concert live stream of the concert in Reikjavik on 25th November 2022 available for purchase. I have bought the live stream and I loved the concert so much that I would like to buy the recording of it. Is that possible?
Dean
says:Takk!!! I’ve never been more thankful! I love your music and I got the chance to meet Jónsi after the Manchester show and tell him this directly! That night was amazing but being at the Reykjavik show was immense! It was so so so good! And in my favourite city on earth where I got engaged in February!
Sigur Rós, I love you and I thank you!

says:It was great to see you guys!
Andre
says:Takk takk takk – amazing sound and venue you guys have changed so many lives and the passion and power of your music transcends all languages and feelings
.. but to be honest the visibility was horrible from the back and I was looking forward to watching it on Veeps Streaming – I went home and tried to stream but it was not available for purchase. I was stuck with two Americans at the back that would not stop talking for the whole concert. Can you please make this streaming available for purchase or better yet – Please stream the concert on your Youtube!
One small bit of advice is if you can lift the stage that you’re playing at, my wife is 155cm tall and was unable to see anything except the ceiling as all the tall people covered the stage. – is it possible to raise the stage by 50cm so that everyone can enjoy your aweseomeness?
Gabo
says:Noche inolvidable para mi y Dania que viajamos desde Puerto Rico para este concierto. Encontrarnos con las luces norteñas en la salida fue frostin’ pal bizcocho. Gracias. Capeamos fragancias en Fischersund al dia siguiente. Best of times! Love Sigur Rós and Iceland!
Matthew Poole
says:Thank you for the amazing show. I travelled from the UK to see you in Reykjavík. The fourth time I have been to see you and it absolutely blew me away! Something I didn’t think possible after the three previous incredible shows! The set list was magnificent. The celebration of ( ) and the onstage collaboration with Amiina and Brassgat í bala super. Not to mention that incredible end to Festival with the children!
It’s hard and immensely futile to pick my favourite song of yours but Andvari with its string outro has always been a special thing for me. I have never seen you play that live before. When you did I just hugged my partner and closed my eyes. The hairs stood up on my neck and I just floated away to the special place only your music takes me.
You were elemental. You were tender. You were brutal. You were compassionate and you burnt with the light and heat of a 1000 Icelandic volcanoes. You were perfect.
Takk
Matthew
Paul from Oklahoma
says:This was one of the best musical experiences I have ever had in my living room. We love you and thank you (takk) for this experience. Now, how can we purchase this so we can continue to watch it?! I would love to share this with my music students. I truly believe it could change some of their lives, musically speaking.
Célia
says:We came from France and Germany to see this concert and to confront our bodies and minds with the elements of Iceland for the first time. What an experience… The Heima DVD has been following me around for years, it has moved me and become a reference as a visual artist, the music of Sigur Rós is one of those that feeds our soul intensively. And with this concert it has crossed us. Thank you for the quality, thank you for the surprises, thank you for the emotion of seeing you again all together, here. And the Northern Light as a welcome In the end… Words are not enough. Takk

says:Amsterdam and The Reykjavik no words needed….

says:Twelve years ago today, January 23rd, 2012. The day I first heard the music of Sigur Rós. (I was 18years old.)
On that day, in that moment I got a big crush on the music of Sigur Rós, and it brought me to this place, to these moments on November 25th, 2022.
The spring and summer of 2022 were pretty hard for me. Waiting for the Sigur Rós tour was the only thing that got me through the tough times.
But.. Do you remember the sudden cancellation of the Seoul tour? It was a rainy day in the middle of summer when the performance in Seoul was scheduled and cancelled. I felt like I was lost in the rain. All day long the rain came down like my tears.
Soon, I had a light bulb moment. and I had to make up my mind. I mustered up the “20 seconds of insane courage”.
A few months later I quit my job, and I flew alone from South Korea for 18 hours. (even though I’m a huge coward!)
That was “my first Iceland”.
Homecoming show in Reykjavík 2022 was the most beautiful performance of my life. The performance was so moving that it brought tears to myeyes. I will forever remember the northern lights that embroidered the night sky above the Laugardalshöllin.
Meeting you in your ‘Home’ was a precious luck for me, and the most “embarrassing bravery” I have ever done in my life.
I realized that everything that has happened since January 23rd, 2012 was an omen.
‘Sigur Rós 2022 Homecoming show in Reykjavík’ always stays with me “Með suð í eyrum”. It gives me the courage to live today.
Waiting for the days when we meet again in Iceland,
Thank you for Sigur Rós, Amiina Strings & Brassgat í bala, all crews.
Takk…
