This band kept me sane during covid lockdowns! Many a 2am session blasting their ethereal songs throwing shapes in the kitchen ;) This concert was unbelievable. My lucky third time seeing them and this one blew my socks off. They’re so “tight” as a band and their professionalism is second to none. How many bands play a 3hour+ set! Yeesh, legendary effort. The 3arena was a banging venue which suited them perfectly.

    love, love, love!

  • Absolutely blown away by last night’s gig! Thanks you Sigur Rós!
I brought my teenage daughter with me and I firmly believe because of your music it will open her mind to the truth and beauty in life.
    We may not understand Icelandic
… but we feel every word.
Thank you for being a constant source of inspiration to me throughout my life.
My dear friend Tricia passed away 12 years ago and she had ‘Starálfur’ play as she left the church. Your music means so much to so many.
    Till next time .

Wonderful show, my first decent gig post-COVID, and fantastic reminder of how important live music is. It sounded great, & I loved the light show and visuals.

It felt like a dream. The opening set the mood and the highest level for the whole show. It was a travel through the emotions emotions where all the senses were alive. It was magical and emotional and I cried many times. I want to go again.
    Much love.

Absolutely beautiful. Third time seeing you in and it was incredible. The first time I ever saw you was in a small tent in a festival in Ireland MANY years ago, the second time in Air Canada Centre Toronto, and last night in Dublin.
I shed a tear with the beauty and power of your music! Thank you!

I can’t remember ever going to a gig where every song sent a shiver down my spine, every song took me to a place far, far, away from the 3 Arena, where at times my senses felt assaulted by the music and visual display. It was an incredible experience. Having enjoyed the music in my home for many years, it was a real thrill to finally see and hear it live, and to have it far exceed expectations.

Loved it, and great to see Kjartan back on stage :)

  • Amazing concert. I was a bit afraid if this kind of music will be good live, but the show was incredible. I have problems to focus recently, but the sound and lights absolutely absorbed my mind. It was truly transcendental experience for me.

My third time seeing you in Dublin and each time has been incredible. Emotional, engaging, inspiring – I could run out of superlatives for each and every show. What looked like a small stage set-up when we arrived proved to be the perfect setting for the tracks chosen and the synchronicity of the lights with the music, especially the percussion, was superb. My good friend has been with me all three times too and indeed he suggested I write a memoir in which the music of the group plays a huge part. It was published last year and I’ll send a copy to the band through the record company. You change lives, for the better. Takk.

  • What An Absolutely Stunning Performance. An Out Of Body Experience. Hypnotic, Moving, Phenomenal Show. One Of The Best Concerts I’ve Ever Seen.

Hoppípolla coincidentally came on my Spotify about a week before the gig, and I resultantly saw that Sigur Rós were playing in Dublin on their Spotify page. So, I bought a ticket because it wasn’t too expensive and I figured I’d go open-minded and might find another band to love. That definitely happened – I instanttly became a huge fan. The gig was so magnificent, I’d find it hard to overstate how much I enjoyed it; easily in the top five gigs I’ve ever seen. Míle buíochas, Þakka þér fyrir.

Second time to see the band. Last time back in 2015 at the Kilmainham gig.
Once again a top class concert. Amazing soundscape. Svefn-g-englar primo inter pares in an amazing set list. Keep up the great work.

Have been a fan since hearing you first in the late 1990’s, was in the Olympia in 2005. Brought my youngest daughter to her first gig last Thursday night, imagine her whole life ahead of her, and seeing Sigur Ros on her first night out, what a story to tell. Can’t begin to tell you the joy, peace of mind, happiness and escapism I get from your music. Amazing show. Thanks for the trip.

What an incredible show. The passion and commitment in the band’s performance, especially during the heavier second half (Jonsí exhorting the crowd to feel it too) was a beautiful thing to behold. Thank you for an unforgettable night. And come back to Dublin soon. ❤

Love your music, I’m a 48 year old father and I came across Hoppipolla and it took me out of a bad place. But unfortunately my autistic son was not well, so myself and my wife sadly could not attend. But I believe it was a brilliant show. So till the next time, good luck
