It took me 10 years since the last time I watched them. So glad to see Kjartan this time. The whole set was amazing and full of emotions. Got my tears out on the first song Vaka. Now I have to deal with this post concert syndrome. Come again with new songs soon please. Thank you for a wonderful experiece Jonsi, Kjartan, Georg and all the crew.

  • Kjartan

    says:

It was great.. until the keyboard/piano off on saeglopur.. and so sad hoppipola can’t be played.. but overall, this concert on theater set, was an amazing experience. Takk sigur ros!

  • Pika

    says:

Sigur Ros was amazing. Loved the set list, loved the closing. Jonsi was so into the performance all throughout, especially at the end. Thanks for the spectacular performance. Will surely cherish the memory forever. Love you, Sigur Ros. Takk! <3

  • Nimo

    says:

Sigur Rós was a dream come true. I’ve never touched spirituality before like I did when I was at their show. I lost the sense of self. Their music has saved me man! This music has helped me sleep and feel comfortable in the absence of the world when I was in the need. Takk Sigur Rós. Takk. Unfortunately you’ll never know and I’ll never be able to express how much you mean to me. But that’s okay.

  • Dimas

    says:

So surreal and amazing! Thank you so much for the great performance!

I’m from the Philippines and it’s my second time flying to Singapore for Sigur Ros. There may be some technical problems towards the end of Sæglópur and the few following songs– I heard the clicks on the audio which indicated something was not right and the off-key guitar string that never shaken Jonsi’s beautifully sang note yet everything sounded like they were part of the show! It was an art show! the flaws never really mattered and I’d fly again for Sigur Ros. Thank you for the experiences you leave in the heart of our memories. Takk!

  • Maryam

I have been listening to Sigur Rós music for the past two decades and finally saw their live. Only the soil of Iceland can produce such an outstanding band, which can perfectly control the music like the “earth shakes” and the ethereal! But it’s a pity they didn’t sing my favorite untitled 4.

  • Dan

    says:

Takk Sigur Rós!! You are & always be the best band ever to grace Mother Earth. Looking forward to visit Iceland & maybe even stay there as Reykjavik is the city where I wanna grow grey & old (Heima convinced me). It was the first concert for me & my girlfriend together and boy you guys were fking great!! Still feeling euphoric! Can’t wait to see you guys soon & we love you Jónsi

    Takk from us in Singapore

    says:

4th time seeing them, okay lah hor this time. First class venue but the unfortunately the performance during act 2 left a lot to be desired. Technical issue with the keyboard, Kjartan’s guitar not in tune, and Jonsi struggling with some vocal parts. Obo did a great job on the throne, explosive drun beats. Goggi is fantastic as usual. Act 2 was cut shorts by 3 songs, not sure because of Jonsi voice condition or the venue limiting their slot only until 11pm. Overall okay la hor. Best is still SG 2012 when the rain poured according to Popplagid.

  • Heidy

    says:

8.17 is my birthday. And this is my best birthday night! Thank you very much! It’s a wonderful night! Really hope to watch your gig again!

  • Boit

    says:

Last time i saw you in asia is 10 years ago. Different venue and set.
And still breathless. Beautiful and superb. And i know you guys work hard for this show. Splendidly still going on even though there was technical issue.
    Blessed you guys.
    Much love.

  • Lou

    says:

Second time to see Sigur Ros in 10 years (first and last was in Reykjavik!) and this time around, it felt like going to church, thanks to the compact venue that made the music feel like super concentrated and the incredible light design. Too bad there were tech difficulties that the great band and their showmanship couldn’t mask but suppose that only made it more real (felt like a dream!). Thank you Sigur Ros for a spectacular concert — my first since the pandemic!

  • Rul

    says:

How did jonsi guitar fill up the theatre up like that?! Amazing show and love the set list!

  • Wei

    says:

Thank you for creating such beautifully pure and powerful music.
Sigur Ros really proves that music is a universal language.
I’ve been lucky to have been able to attend three of your concerts and they have always left me in both awe and despair.
Truly hope to catch more concerts of yours in the future.

  • Karie

    says:

Last night’s show was absolutely sublime. I’ve been a fan of Sigur Rós for over 20 years now, and it felt cathartic to finally savour these ethereal sounds up close. Vaka as a starter was wonderfully breathtaking – the emotional impact from the ambience & Jónsi’s falsetto was intensified live. In that moment, I felt my goosebumps raising, spine tingling and my best friend started tearing.

I have always loved how their sounds evoke the imagery of Iceland’s beautifully melancholic, desolate landscape. It’s like if I just close my eyes, I’m back in Iceland.

What a divine experience. Takk Sigur Rós, for showing us the celestial beauty of music.

It was my fifth time seeing Sigur Ros
First notes got me crying. I feel so blessed to be able to listen to such amazing music, pure poetry for the ears.
Everything was perfect, the lighting, the projections, even hearing you laugh at the malfonctionned piano.
    I love you guys…

When the apocalypse is announced, Sigur Ros will be perfect to provide a heavy but heavenly score, and the world will end not in a blast, but in a glitch. Thank you for a transcendent concert

The first time I watched Sigur Rós was at Neon Night. My dream came true then and again this time. I was touched with the openong song Vaka. also my favourite.

Amazing music and performance. Excellent lighting.

Absolutely phenomenal. This is what music is about. Love the visuals and the performance, the ending was totally mind blowing. Guitar play was totally fantastic! Vocal was right up to the top of mesmerising and hypnotic. Thank you!

  • Jem

    says:

Beautiful evening with a set list of the more mellow meditative pieces. The stage and visual design was breathtaking and quite a sight to behold, felt like I was transported to another world! That’s the magic of Sigur Ros. Unfortunately I was not impressed by the venue, it was a very static experience. I very much preferred the experience of the last two shows at Fort Canning (One was part of a festival), and nothing can compare to the magical moment when it rained on the crowd during their final piece in 2012! Nevertheless, can’t wait for your next show, until then, takk.

  • Dave

    says:

Amazing show but so gutted to not have my favourite song, hoppiplolla.

Salam Sejahtera!

Came all the way from KL to support the concert! Amazing sound and visual integrated performance, as I was sitting just next to one of the console in the first row of seats! Takk Sigur Ros for the wonderful music and all the heals & companion during my depression time.

  • Looknum

    says:

It was very impressive show and worth flying from Bangkok to Singapore to see you here. The venue is amazing, I love that it’s like we are in the church listening to a great sound and touch our heart. The visual is beautiful and all the show made me flattered. Hope to have a chance seeing you in Reykjavík. Thanks for coming to Asia.

Finally got a chance to watch Sigur Rós live after discovering their gorgeous music when I was a freshman ten years ago.

Takk for the show! It was an ethereal experience, despite some technical difficulties during the second half of the show. The best concert I’ve ever seen until now.

Waiting for meeting you guys again on the next tour!

  • Hasan

    says:

I had high expectations before the show. And it’s not just surpassed, it became by far the best show I’ve ever seen.
I’ve been sigur ros fans since 2003ish on my junior high. And after 2 decades, I finally came to see them.
I’d like to say takk for all of the member who made this fantastic show.
Looking forward to see the show anytime soon.. hopefully in iceland

  • oktavia

    says:

It was magical night! So unbelievable, because I can hear all the songs live!! I went with my friend from Jakarta, even I lived in Jogja. After I saw Sigur Rós poster in her previous IG story, we decided to go to SG and come to this decent concert! I knew you had a show in Jakarta in 2013, but at that time I didn’t have much money, because I just graduated from college and didn’t get a job.
It was the first time I enjoyed a great performance. I felt like I saw a concert that had visual, lighting and performance from each band personnel who were so united. It feels like hypnotized when I see visuals with your music accompaniment.

  • D

    says:

Took me more than 25 years before I can see you guys perform. It’s all worth it. I will definitely see you again soon!!! Love you guys!!

  • Summer

    Nice venue for the concert.
Sigur Ros performance is always more suited for indoor than outdoor venue.
Please perform at The Star Theatre again for future shows in Singapore

It’s hard to explain how I finally got to see Sigur Ros live again! The first two songs, I can only cry, how dreams finally come true again. You are the ones who accompany me through many stories in life. Thanks for 2 hours in Singapore. Takk Sigur Ros.

  • KazAnn

It was the first live concert that brought tears to my eyes. The view of the world that followed was also more than enough to move my heart. Takk!

It was one of the best live performances I’ve ever had. I felt like I was in Iceland. I couldn’t speak out due to the corona crisis, but I think my passion has surely reached the members. Thank you for coming to Japan.

  • This is the fourth time I watched Sigur Ros concert. By far this is the best experience. THIS is the best way to watch Sigur Ros concert: Sit down on a comfy chair with good sound system and acoustic.
I was in tears the whole duration of the concert.

    Takk

    says:

It was my first time seeing you play, I had waited many, many years for this opportunity! The venue, sound and lighting were wonderful, and Jonsi’s voice is actually very strong! My only wish was that you would play a few more songs, as no songs from Kveikur were played and there was no encore. My wish list of songs I really hoped to hear in this show:
Hoppípolla, Olsen Olsen, Viðrar Vel Til Loftárása, Varúð, Dauðalogn, Brennisteinn, ísjaki and Kveikur. Looking forward to your new album! Takk from Cape Town, South Africa

  • Sakti Ajisasmita

    says:

Great Performance, even though “Festival” and “Kveikur” didn’t played, but still mesmerizing. Takk Sigur Ros, see you on another tour.
