Absolutely incredible show. The music was mesmerising as always and the effects and lights were amazing.. We loved how prominent the drums were this time. We went to the Eden Project gig back in 2013 – this was very different but equally as spellbinding. The sound filled the space and everything combined created a very powerful and emotional atmosphere. Well done guys, you’ve done it again! Takk

So, so, so good. I’ve been hoping to see Sigur Ros for years and thrilled that I finally made it. If you are any kind of fan don’t miss the opportunity to see them. It’s a show like no other. Jonsi’s vocals were ridiculously good and the band ran the full spectrum from quiet to room shatteringly loud like only SR can. The incredible visuals just topped off an amazing night. Come back soon guys.

Absolutely incredible! A seated room with only 3,000 people and they managed to produce something more brilliant that I’ve seen stadium rockers do. From ethereal ambient brilliance, to the shattering sound of a bowed guitar to Jonsi’s vocals. They were phenomenal. Takk for the greatest gig I’ve ever seen and I will see you again.

I absolutely loved the whole performance. The light show and screens behind were amazing too. A two hour set is not to be sniffed at. Thank you

Insanely good as always! Such a different experience without the strings and brass! Incredibly moving and atmospheric. You guys took Glósóli to a whole new level last night! Extreamly greatful to have been able to witness it!

Such an extraordinary set that I’m thinking of buying another ticket tonight! Overwhelming to see the band after such a long time of loving their music. Takk, Sigur Ros! Come back to Manchester soon!

Raw and beautiful, I’ve seen sigur ros a few times and they just keep getting better. I wish i could have stayed for the end, but I had to travel. I’m not 100% it was worth £120 (5th row back plus signed notebook) but it was still an experience..

Amazing, beautiful music, amazing drumming – stunning visual effects! Takk, Sigur Ros!!! See you again soon.

Raw, destructive, tracks from Takk and Untitled were destroyed and new material sounded bleak in the best way. New, darker vibe all round, pierced only by Festival, which as always was joyous :D the set design was ingenious and beautiful, painted a gorgeous narrative.

Watched them for the 1st time last night and they were truly spellbinding!!! Absolutely beautiful musically and stunning visuals, would recommend them to anyone

Thanks you Sigur Rós!

Absolutely incredible. First time seeing them live. Definitely not the last. The hairs on my neck haven’t gone down yet. Definitely in the top 3 shows I have ever seen.

I was worried about going alone at first, but it was still the most incredible concert I’ve ever been to. I was transfixed. The other fans were lovely, the performance was so immersive, and the lights and music were mindblowing- sounds so much better live (I didn’t think that was possible with Sigur Rós). I cried the whole time, I literally have no words to describe how magical it was. Takk fyrir ótrúlega afmæli!

I was almost in tears before Sigur Ros even got on stage. The tears started rolling once Jonsi opened his mouth. The entire show was mesmerising, and flawless. The sound was gorgeous and the lights where stunning. It was magic.

Astounding concert on Sunday night..so good I returned on Monday night in a seat near the front. Managed to shake hands with the band at the end. Thankyou so much for creating such spellbinding music over the last 20 years and then compress it into 2hrs of THAT show you have put together. Thankyou Georg, Jonsi & Orri.. Bought the Circe vinyl too…. //OjO\\

The fourth time my wife and I have seen them in 7 years and they just get better and better! From our wedding ceremony, to our son’s birthing music to our Iceland road-trip playlist Sigur Ros are the soundtrack to the best moments of our life and Sunday was right up there! Gentle, ethereal and other-worldly at times, yet at others a visceral wall of chest shaking noise they were truly awesome in every sense of the word. The visuals were frankly spectacular too.

The 3rd time I have seen them. The other 2 occasions at Wolverhampton Civic Hall. An amazing atmospheric, spell binding performance from start to the earth shattering finish! The 3 piece format works very well and overall much more of a power performance than previous gigs. Lighting and visuals blending brilliantly with the music, with exceptional drumming and vocals. Thanks to my son Harry for sharing the experience with me. Also thanks to all the staff at the Apollo.

Last Saturday was a night that meant a lot for me. Sigur Ros are a band i’ve always liked but never really thought too much about seeing live. My son bought us both last minute tickets for the Manchester Apollo gig to take my mind off an impending operation for cancer the next morning!! It was a special night, a real musical therapy, Saeglopur is just an astonishing piece of music, and it inspired me to think nothing but positivity for the months ahead. God willing, i’ll come through, but that was a memory xxx
