Incredible show. Absolutely wonderful to see Kjartan back in the band. 10/5 stars, the entire show.

What an emotional rollercoaster. Loved it!!!!!!!! Tip: If you are sensitive to noise bring earplugs for the more intense bits.

Overall, I loved the show. But two points made it very hard to enjoy some parts. First, the acoustics in The Auditorium are near perfect, so the volume was at least 50% too high. There were parts of the show that were unlistenable. Second, the line of lights aimed out at the audience late in the show might be cool for you, but they are blinding to us. Like landing at O’hare after having your pupils dilated blinding. That said, Takk.

The quintessential Sigur Ros show!

Genius start to finish. Part art exhibition, part rock show, part operatic. Definitely sits in my too five concerts of all time if not at the too spot. Kudos to the sound guy! Simply blissfully amazing!

I ugly cried during 75% of the songs (at least). One of the only bands I’ll ALWAYS see when given a chance, even a few states away. Absolutely brilliant every time. Come to Kansas City and I’ll bring the whole family, and everyone I know. Thank you for what you do.

I can’t say enough great things about this band! My husband and I also saw them in Chicago in 2016 and my daughter wasn’t able to attend, so this time I was absolutely determined to bring her along to experience this life-changing event! Pure magic, plain and simple.

It is difficult to describe in words the magic of every Sigur Rós song. It vibrated every cell in my body…. plus the visual atmosphere and the subtle musical layers they create in each song was overwhelming. Only going to Iceland to see their show can top this experience.

So impressive as always but the new set and arrangement/order was just so perfect. 6/5 stars.

This was my fourth time seeing them (all in Chicago) and this show stands above the rest. No giveaways but the second set’s order/arrangement is amazing.

My brain exploded when the first drum was hit during svefn g englar. My cousin sitting next to me never had heard ny batteri. We were having the best time of our lives. Amazing concert. I’ll be there the next time you come to the US.
I was a volunteer at the theater that day and got to sit in an empty seat (sorry, that does happen to us hard-working volunteers at times). Absolutely amazing show. This band is very musical, by which I mean it is devoted to melody, contrast between a high voice and instrumentation, and original sound. I will be seeing a band I’ve never heard of in a few days that opens for Peter Hook and the Light, called El Ten Eleven, which its wiki entry states is similar to Sigur Ros in some way, so I’m looking forward to that. My only complaint is that some of the songs sounded very alike. I think a bit of this originality should try to break out of its own style, that is the ultimate mark of originality. Other than that, fantastic gig, one I will never forget!

I’ve been a Sigur Rós fan for about 3 years now and this was my first time seeing them live. No opener and almost 2 and a half hour of epic post rock music, I didn’t ever want to leave this beautiful venue in general. This was the best show I’ve ever been to. The setlist was immaculate and the performance was something to behold with four of my favorite musicians (including obo).
