Thanks for an amazing concert in Denver tonight! My third time seeing Sigur Ros, each concert was different, each amazing!

Thank you for leaving your families to come out on the road to perform for us.

Come back soon, don’t be strangers here!

I also wanted to mention that the Besta premium, the sketch book, is much nicer than I expected. And the little mini bookbag is a nice surprise.

The show was amazing – even when Jonsi knocked some lights off the stage onto me and my friend. Can’t blame him for rocking out.

This was my first time seeing Sigur Ros. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but even if I had the highest expectations, I feel like this show topped them.

Even with my first tickets being a scam and having to buy another one at the door, this show was well worth seeing. I loved how the music filled the hall and the audience. The visual affects and the designs blew me away as well. when asked to describe what i experienced, I’m tempted to say it was a show not for the soul or the spirit but for the heart, mind, blood, body. For it feel fully and completely every emotion that exists.

Oh man. Thanks for the wonderful show.
And shout out to all the people willing to stand up and dance :>

Fantastic performance! The band was totally on it. E-Bow was simply amazing (my personal favorite), Sæglópur was stunning visually and musically. Popplagið was a fantastic closer, and I didn’t want the show to end. Thank you for making a stop in Denver with an amazing set list.

I saw Sigur Ros in Miami a few years ago. During the last song Popplagio, I became so fixated on what they were doing I literally, and in every sense of the word literally, stopped breathing for what seemed like two or three minutes. Once the song ended, I began gasping for air. So naturally once I got the chance to see them again, I would be willing to sell a kidney to buy tickets.

So now here I am, the day after seeing them in Denver and I’m in awe because they topped the show in Miami. Sigur Ros are the definition of beautiful human art. I cried during a few songs. I had the biggest smile in my life while crying. I know of Jonsi’s back story and I felt his emotions while he was singing and all I wanted to do was to take the pain away from him. I’ve never connected with a band emotionally like I have with Sigur Ros.

After seeing them play Popplagio again, I was speechless. I waited three years or so to see that live again. I wish I could give them all hugs and thank them for how much they’ve entertained me during my life. Hands down, the best live show I’ve ever seen in my life.

How to explain Sigur Rós in Denver? No words can describe. Only emotions. Tusen takk.

    says:

Sigur Rós was hearts beatbeat beatbeat beating into an expanse so big it physically hurts. And then the settle. Was salt water rivers down your cheek to fresh water collar-bone lakes because that how magic works. Sigur Rós was dancing on northern lights and space flying to Mars, was soul-free, was every molecule of my body leaping, was everyone standing and laughter exploding. Sigur Rós was catching shooting stars and holding them forever in a constellation journal with stardust signatures. Takk Takk Jón, Georg, and Orri! From the bottom of my happy and expanded heart. Takk Takk.

Their performance in Denver last night was the first time I had seen them since they played here 10 years ago. Sigur Rós has such an uncommon gift in reaching the most ineffable places of the human spirit. They have been my favorite artists from the moment I heard them. I was 16 when I first saw them live. It was not only the best show I had ever been to, it was one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had. Last night met that first experience leaving me with tears threatening my eyes for most of it and my memories of Iceland urging me to return. The music put out by Sigur Rós is all at once sanguine and heartbreaking. Their live performances are otherworldly, giving viewers the chance to experience a visceral connection with raw and uninhibited creative power. The signed sketchbook I received with my ticket is beautiful and perfect as I am a visual artist and I look forward to filling it with the inspiration I took away from last night’s show. Takk Sigur Rós!

i was lucky enough to see the three shows leading up to the denver show and while all the shows were beautiful and magnificent, Denver was in another world.

Denver was a spectacular and wonderful show, i cannot thank the band AND THE CROWD enough for just giving us a wonderful experience.

You guys are all amazing. Especially during festival – thank you for getting on your feet because you were feeling the music so much!

My husband and I have traveled to Iceland numerous times, and felt the power of that astonishing country channeled from the Denver stage: glaciers, volcanoes, water, mist and magic. Thank you, Sigur Ros, for an evening we will never forget. Your music fills our home and studio as we write, paint, build and create. Best concert ever.
