“Our film is a collaboration with my father, Aires, who died sixteen years ago. A great lover of cinema, he shot 400 reels of film with a camera he carried everywhere. They chart his life from Goa to Ireland, from one family to another, and many of them have never been viewed until now. Each Super 8 reel is three minutes long, a few vivid moments caught between blank frames at either end. Our film refracts these moments and their capture.
