  1. I just want to say how much I appreciate the fans at this show. The respect shown for the musicians and the band for their delicate and beautiful arrangements is so amazing to witness and be apart of. It feels truly special to be apart of this fanbase This is the 4th time I’ve seen them and each time feels better than the last. Holy moly did they sound good tonight or what? Jonsi’s voice was superb, that was the best version I’ve ever heard of Samskeyti, and getting to hear Ára Bátur performed live for the first time was the icing on the cake for me. Absolutely elated after that show, hot damn!

My buddy I was with ran to the front during the standing ovation and snagged a copy of the setlist for the 3rd time in a row!😄

  2. Having previously seen their orchestral show in Seattle two years ago, this one’s emotional potency caught me off guard. SR in concert still does it for me ,since 2001. A ne pas manquer. Floored.

  3. Saw SR first performance in North America at Palais Royale (Toronto) in 2001. Over 25 years and a couple dozen shows this was one of the most beautiful performances I’ve witnessed. Glad I made the trip out from Ontario.

    Takk…

  4. i saw sigur ros in 2005 in vancouver and saw jonsi solo show in 2010.This show was special, magical, emotive and all souls of light became one for the evening.NO disgusting phones out or people watching through a lens.Everyone was present in their own way.

  5. 25+ years following them.
    4th time seeing them live.
    1st time with an orchestra.
Missed them in Toronto last year. Travelled all the way from the east coast (NB) to Vancouver, with my daughter, for this last run of shows.
2nd time as an accredited photographer.
Thank you Sigur Rós for your beautiful music that transport people to places full of emotions and peace.
    Takk, thank you, merci!

  6. Wow. This was the most incredible musical moment of my life. This is the 5th time seeing Sigur Ros live, every time is different this time was SO special. I cried so many times, so beautiful. I wish I could do it all over again.
    Takk

  7. Takk fyrir for a soul filling evening. This was my 8th time seeing Sigur Ros live, and each time is special in its own way. Sigur Ros, Robert Ames and Wordless Music Orchestra, a magical union. A deep thank you for playing Ára Bátur. Until we meet again 🖤

  8. My husband and I attended thanks to a gift from a friend. Our son died 5 weeks ago and this friend knew your music would connect us to our boy. Did it ever.

We sat together and cried while listening to this stunning performance. We felt our boy the entire time and your music was a portal for this.

Thank you thank you thank you

  9. What a truly magical evening. This was my 5th time seeing Sigur Ros, and it felt so dreamy and romantic. Thank you to the band and orchestra for giving us all a treat for the senses. It was unforgettable.

  10. After having to miss two previous shows I had tickets for, this was a 25 year old dream come true. I’m so grateful that I got to see this show. It was beyond words wonderful.

I made a playlist (plus a few live versions) of the show list.

  11. We felt a deep sense of belonging, connection, spirit, love, grace and coming home. Seen this band a couple times before, amazing then, but this night was extra special and sounded incredible. Maybe the aurora borealis over Vancouver this night added to it. Whatever it was, the light within and out was shiny bright at this one. Thank-you Sigur Ros and Wordless Orchestra. Life changing. Audience was special too, not too heavy on the phone use and the applause at the end was sensational. I just wish some folks could hold off on clapping too soon before songs, I could hear the last note linger during clapping. Oh well, still amazing.

  12. This was my first time seeing SR perform. I have been listening to them for a very long time, and always heard high praises about the live performances for years. It was beyond my expectations and one of the best performances I have ever seen. Cant wait to see them again

  13. Seeing Sigur Rós live with an Orchestra was nothing short of transcendent. Their music has always felt other-worldly. At one point, my best friend and I just looked at each other and realized we were both crying. Sigur Rós didn’t just perform; they created a moment we’ll carry for a very long time. THANK YOU SO MUCH

  14. WOW!!!! I finally got to experience this beautiful and mesmerizing show! From start to end, it was an incredible performance – evoking all the feelings – love, hope, joy, wonder, growth. Thank you for coming out to Vancouver. Now I want to travel the world to experience their talent and artistry again!!

  15. I’ve had a rough couple of years with losing family members. Most recently my sister to cancer. It was shortly after she passed that the concert was announced. I knew that this would be healing to my soul. I knew it was going to be an emotional night, I stuffed my purse full of tissue! From the moment they stepped on the stage my tears started flowing because I knew it was going to be magical. I felt my sister with me that night, I know she would have loved it so much. It was the most beautiful performance I have seen from Sigur Ros. My soul needed this so badly and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
