This show felt so much more intimate and raw than the 2013 show in Detroit. While I loved that show, tonight’s showing demonstrated the brilliance of the band’s compositional talents, taking us on a journey into the complexity and layers of their songwriting. Tonight was an epic experience I won’t soon forget. It truly moved me in ways only beautiful music can.

My only regret was not making the investment in a meet and greet. The poster for this tour’s Detroit show is amazing. I would’ve loved to gotten a signed version.

I so hope that they come back to Detroit again! Thank you for a transcendent experience. Your art means a lot to me. Thank you for sharing it with the world.

Absolutely incredible show! Detroit Symphony Orchestra was pure magic, and Sigur Rós was in some of the best form I’ve heard from them. The atmosphere and production quality were top notch! Well done and many thanks to everyone that was involved! Takk fyrir!

Transcendent. Entirely human. I felt alive.

The show was great but it was too fucking hot. Like I had to leave the show and go to medical hot. I get that the cold is bad for the instruments but with a packed theater I would think that the safety of the crowd would be more important.

A beautiful concert, as always. This was my fourth time seeing Sigur Rós live, and every show is phenomenal. The addition of our Detroit Symphony Orchestra was amazing – the show felt very intimate and whimsical. Thank you for sharing your creativity, and thank you for coming back to Detroit. Much love!

This is my 5th time seeing Sigur Ros and every time feels like a privilege and honour. Their music moves me in a way that nothing else on this planet does, it’s intense, beautiful and overwhelming in the most incredible way. I feel like I understand the universe when I hear it.

Thank you for another unbelievable show, that I will cherish forever.

I hope Sigurrós will perform in Reykjavik this winter. My favorite band for over 20 years!

  • Andrew Conkling

    says:

This was my first Sigur Rós concert and I brought my teenage son. We both enjoyed the concert, the vibe, the lights, and the music. The band and the DSO played some of our favorites and it was a beautiful set with beautiful arrangements. I am so pleased to see them in this way, what a treat!
