says:My second gig after Esch/Luxemburg. An even more enthusiastic crowd than in the Rockhal made this show a really special event. During the last 3 songs, people were rushing towards the stage to celebrate the band. What an emotional journey! Can’t wait for the new album (and hopefully a new tour to promote this)! Takk Sigur Rós!

says:How can I describe something that moves me so emotionally? Every Sigur Rós concert is an unforgettable experience that touches me and never let me go. I‘ll stay on this cloud for a while. I hope no one will take me down from there. TAKK!
Thomas
says:Your music is a gift and combined with your presence on stage and the impressive light and video installations you touched my heart. Thank you for an fantastic and emotional evening. Looking forward for your new album.

says:Best band ever…best show ever…each song is a masterpiece…at the beginning we were all sitting but one person was dancing…at the end of the show everyone was dancing…can’t wait to see you soon. takk

says:Sigur Ros is one of the most important bands in the last 2 decades. Their music is unique and wonderful. I have seen them live for the first in 2017- and this concert was fantastic. End everyone who was with me in 2017 would say the same.But. And I am not sorry to say this: The concert on sunday in Frankfurt was boring. No: it was very boring and annoying. Off course not for their followers, but for me and my friends. We left before the end. Why we left? We found long parts of the concert very uninspired. Jonsi on a egotrip to nowhere…. Most of the live presented songs were very far away from the magic level of a song like Svefn-g-englar. Not much creativ power. Most of it was as interesting as the start of a jet-fighter. Lemmy from Motörhead would probably have loved it……Jonsi’s live musical presentation (very very serious all the time) was like the talking of one of these preachers who talk and talk and talk and talk- and do not express anything in the end, except producing words that make no sense…..Had to think of Frank Zappa “It is very easy to play boring music”. Sigur Ros played a lot of boring music on sundaynight in Frankfurt.
Björn
says:There is no reason to play a 100% seated venue. People wanna move. I enjoyed the handful people who dances (the people sitting behind them might not enjoy that). And of course a lot of people are standing (and running to front row) on the last track, me too.
I´ve seen you 2005 and 2009, so I´m very happy to hear a lot of stuff from the second and third album live, great setlist!
But next time I will travel to cologne or somewhere else to stay close to the stage. Sitting far away feels like watching a DVD or be in a cinema.
Luke
says:Epic.
It wasn’t a concert. It was an event like no other. Incomparable to anything else that can be experienced on this earth.
I’ve seen Sigur Ros before, in 2013. They played all my favourite songs and it was wonderful. This time at least half of the songs I’d never heard before, from the other half 3-4 were well known to me, the rest sounded a little familiar. This isn’t the Sigur Ros I typically listen to at home, yet I felt equally content and hungry throughout.
I was enthralled from beginning to end.
Don’t go with any expectations, other than to leave with a sense of wonderment – in that you will be satisfied.

says:i’m still full of love and positive vibes…

its the soundtrack of my life, you’ve saved my life a few times, and if I had to explain all the beauty and pain and bittersweetness that surrounds all things and creates every new moment of mysteria, its your music It World describe IT…

Alex Suzuki
says:After Basel in 2013 this was a serious disappointment. Also who the hell had the idea of making the front rows seats instead of stands?
H.P. Richter
says:I appreciate Sigur Ros a lot. They have played/created one of the most inspireing music of the last decades. BUT anyway: I found that their concert in Frankfurt was BORING. Uninspired. Not much energy. No dynamic. Sounded like a “even not too good” Sigur Ros coverband. Even Svef-en-englar did sound exhausted. I/we left before the end.
