Phenomenal. Transcendent. Thank you for this portal (music!) drawing me back into conscious creative realm of the I Am. Thank you.

    says:

Brilliant. Simply Brilliant. Nice to witness a show with Kjartan. Only complaint: it would be nice to honor this phenomenal band and show up on time Los Angeles. It appeared that many cared more about the overpriced beer than the music.

To the band: thank you so very much for blessing us with time and talents. Please return soon. Have a great rest of your tour.

Third time seeing Sigur Ros live. First time was at the Santa Barbara Bowl and second time was at the Pomona Fox Theatre. This time I brought my mother for the seated show to experience the music that has inspired and been there for me since I was a teenager. Was truly special. They played my favorite song (Untitled 3) and I have never heard it live before. It was a very special moment that I got to share with my mother. Thank you Sigur Ros for once again giving us memories we will cherish forever. Until next time. Takk. . .

3rd time seeing the band. It was heavenly, truly the music of the spheres and the elements. Getting to hear “Samskeyti” live has been one of my dreams. Beautiful venue for the show.

Thank you for such a beautiful performance. There were moments where tears were running down my face I was overcome with emotion from the beauty of the songs and visuals. Thank you so much Dow a wonderful evening ❤️

  • Neyma Loya

    says:

Excellent concert. Would have liked that the sound was double checked in the upper levels/mezzanine because there was a point where the sound was too loud. :(

To the band: you are the BEST! Thank you for this night. love you!

  • This band is playing with a fury that reminds you of the days when they were touring “( )”, or “Takk…” . The majority of the songs played came from those two albums, with a select few from”Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust“ (thank you copy/paste option), and “Kveiker”, plus a couple of unreleased songs suspected to be on their next release. With this set, the band gave us a night of nostalgic bliss, with a sense of new as if you’d never heard them before. There is a sense of happiness emanating from the band that comes through in the performance which leaves you grinning from ear to ear throughout the night. It’s a beautiful thing to witness. Sigur Rós, you are the greatest band on the planet.

I’ve never been to a show or performance where I was moved to tears as many times as last night. The emotion and beauty in this music is 100 times more intense when experienced live. Thank you Sigur Ros, I’ll be listening to you until I grow old.

I have been an increasingly more passionate band since the first time I heard “( )” 20 years ago. First time seeing them live and it was simply amazing! Thanks for such a magical show!

  • The show exceeded all my expectations. I think I’m going to try and catch them again. It’s was beautiful and powerful and mesmerizing. I can’t recommend it enough.

  • The first opportunity I’ve had to experience the band, and with Kjartan even — I am eternally thankful. Unbelievable to hear so much music from “Takk…” and “( )”. Cried a lot — thankful for the wonderful strangers next to me who were ever so kind during it all.
Shrine is a gorgeous venue and the stage setup was incredible. Los Angeles crowd spent a *lot* of time moving through aisles for drinks during runtime — we wish they would have done this on their own time before the show or during intermission..

An unforgettable moment, grateful to have been present for it. A hundred times and more, TAKK

Why only one show in LA. Last time you did 3 shows in a row!!! So unfair!!!! But you guys still are my favorite!

  • Angie Guzman

    says:

Listening to Jonsi with his voice expanding like a tree on stage takes you back to the womb, where life that does not yet exist is possible.
Listening to his voice is witnessing an ancient magic being released in each note.
He sings in his invented language “hopelandic” and although what he sings are not words but sounds, they are full of feeling, one is in them instinctively.
Sigur Ros is a band like no other, but Sigur Ros live is something to experience once in a lifetime.

  • Joyce

    says:

As soon as he started singing, I knew I was in for something magical. This group is from some other realm. I also felt like I was the only person in the whole auditorium. It was phenomenal. I’m going to see them every time they come to the states. Thank you, Sigur Ros, for such an incredible experience!

    says:

A great friend of mine introduced me to Sigur Ros and wow the concert was beyond what human words can describe. The band is extremely talented and creative and I’ve been to a lot of concerts but their was by far my favorite. Hope they come back and play in LA again. Now on to the venue, I loved the atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. The lines to get drinks or the restrooms weren’t long at all. Plus we had several staff assist us to find our seats safely with their flashlight. I’d love to visit this venue again and I loved all the gorgeous chandeliers. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience and for all the staff that made it possible.

  • Richard

Absolutely stunning, you guys never disappoint. 3 nights at Disney, the wiltern, Hollywood forever cemetery, the greek theater 2 times, Santa Barbara bowl and the list goes on for me. Thank you for another unforgettable experience … so grateful to have your music in my life. svefn-g-englar is the first song I ever heard of Sigur Ros and that was a lifetime ago on morning becomes eclectic on our own KCRW.

This is my 4th time seeing Sigur Ros. I try to catch them anytime they come to LA. They are my favorite band. I walked down the aisle to their music. Their music gives me a sense of peace. Every time I see them live I feel so rejuvenated. After this pandemic I needed this more than ever. Their music is so special to me. Never disappoint! Thank you!
