says:Sigur Rós fue uno de los mejores recitales de mi vida. Quizá porque su música me acompaña hace mucho tiempo, quizá porque la voz de Jónsi me desarma y me rearma por dentro. Me inspiran desde lugares que me movilizan emociones y sensaciones que de otra forma quizá no hubieran encontrado cómo encausar. Sigur Rós supo acompañar muy bien mi proceso de duelo y a ayudarme a encontrar la ternura en medio del dolor, a transitar los espacios oscuros con todo su peso, a divisar la luz que aparece en el grito cuando ya no queda nada para gritar, a hacer laguna en el caos y aprender a mermar y seguir con cada subida, bajada y giro vital. Llegué al recital con una conjunción de amor y dolor en el cuerpo, permeable a cada estado que me atravesó, dejándome llorar lo que no pude, drenando todo duelo y entendiendo al fin todo como parte de un mismo proceso. Por ahí me es Sigur Rós. Un dejar que la caída suceda. Que se transforme. Y dejar que todo vuelva a nacer.

The band you had a lot of cds of at home, and were a huge fan of when you were a teenage?? Wow!” Yes mom, I got to see the band of my dreams live at last. says:TAKK Sigur Rós! La banda islandesa que nos trajo su poderoso sonido. Es un show abstracto de constantes impactos sonoros, creo que es de esas bandas que como Yann Tiersen o Mogwai, tenés que ver en vivo para realmente apreciar su poderoso sonido, su arte. El show comienza muy agradable con melodías que endulzan el oído, luego viene la sorpresa que te pega al cuerpo con la avasallante distorsión y la voz aguda del vocalista. Por momentos el bajo y el teclado te contienen, por otros la batería y la viola, que Jonsi la toca con un arco de violín, se imponen y elevan el clima potenciando su sonido hasta el máximo. El micro estadio de tecnópolis sonó excelente, como lo requería una banda como ésta. Cuando finalizó el tema “Festival” la gente coreó la melodía una y otra vez. En ese momento la banda se tomó un momento para aplaudir a la audiencia; “Eso estuvo hermoso” dijo Jonsi. Vi mucha gente emocionada, un show como éste te pega al cuerpo y a los sentimientos. Luego de una hora y media llegó el final saturando el sonido al máximo que se acompañó con un sin fin de imágenes en las pantallas.
Ovacionados agradecieron y alzaron con sus manos del público una bandera unida de Argentina e Islandia. Así fue el debut de Sigur Rós en Argentina y quedó claro que éste lazo recién empieza.

says:I’ve never lived something like the show you gave us. It felt so intimate, so personal, so emotionally significant. The band truly spoke to people, and words weren’t necessary for that. I turned around at a point, and all I could see were people crying, happy, embracing others and singing. And we sang whatever we could, even if we didn’t know a word in icelandic. says:A lot of times I saw: ‘Share your reviews of the show in…’ on your twitter account and I thought something like that would be impossible to me. I talked to many fans at the show and everyone said the same: ‘I can’t believe we are here, I thought it was imposible’. Imposible, that word. But it happened. I can’t believe it happened.
I was on the front road, right in front of Jónsi, I literally cried the whole show, couldn’t believe what my eyes were looking at, what my ears were listening to.
Was magic. Everything was perfect.

says:When light turned down and the first Ekki Mukk chords sounded, I knew this was going to be an otherworldly experience. I was so moved by their performance that I wasn’t able to speak, and even thought we, argentineans, are known as a noisy crowd who love singing every lyrics at concerts, we held ourselves just to enjoy it.
The lights, the sound, the people, all of them were the perfect combination for an epic night and without doubts I can say it was the best show of 2017!

Thank you for the spectacular show, it was close to a religious experience. The whole stadium went to silence hearing you guys, I got goosebumps the entire 2 hours.

realmente el show que brindaron en Argentina es de esas cosas que nunca voy a olvidar.
Fueron muchos años de esperar verlos en vivo, soñar con la idea de viajar a Islandia solo para poder escucharlos en su casa.
Las sensaciones del recital hablan mas de magia que de realidad, viajé hacia mi juventud… plena y pude vivirlo con los amigos que tenia a esa edad. Prometimos verlos en vivo alguna vez ,y lo pudimos cumplir juntos. Esas son cosas que no suceden a menudo con el correr de los años.
Lo que ustedes generaron como banda es algo que se sentía en grupo, fue como una conexión entre un montón de personas que desde los pies a la cabeza y por sobretodo en el centro del corazón, nos dejamos llevar por los sonidos que escuchamos. Puedo asegurar que nos llevaron al llanto, a la emoción, a la alegría en expansión
No tengo mas que agradecimientos, el deseo de volver a verlos en vivo.. y mantengo vivo mas que nunca el sueño de viajar a su país y tener el honor de compartir allí de su magia

Todo mi cuerpo vibraba y sentía como las secuencias del sonido entraban en mi y me sanaban. Llore, reí, baile, cante, millones de emociones mas. Fue todo un viaje el show, el escenario con las luces y pantallas era perfecto, veía como simbolizaba energías de planos profundos. says:It´s been more than a month since I seen you guys live in Buenos Aires. I am still trying to find words to explain what I felt seeing the band live for the first time.
When I was a drama theatre student, one of my professors put one of your songs for us to work with our creativity. I couldn´t believe my ears. I was touched by the music and the words Jonsi said without really knowing what he was saying. I didn´t care because the song touched me deeply. As years went by, I´ve got to know more and more about the music and became one of my favorite bands. Getting the chance to finally listening to them live was one of the greatest gifts I have ever received as a music lover.
I have no words, but feelings and body sensations to express what I experienced at the concert. I was very emotional, my heart was rasing, eyes closed trying to really listen and not only see. However, the band wanted us to show us images of what their music meant to them. I had never seen such beautiful, heartfelt and surreal images in my life. I observed people around me. Their bodies were still, looking at the images showed behind the band as if they were having an out of body experience. That is the closest to an explanation for the show I will ever get to.
Music is supose to makes us feel better, learn more about ourselves or just have a good time. Sigur Ros is all three and more. It´s not about words, or music. It is about connecting with oneself and sharing what is deep down inside us. I was shown that feeling and I go back to that moment every time I listen to a song now. Takk Sigur Ros, it´s been real meeting you. I can´t wait to keep meeting you through your music over the year.s

says:Cuando los anunciaron mis expectativas se fueron a las nubes, estuvimos sólo a unos metros. Yo fui solo creyendo que sería una experiencia distinta y me llevé una de las mejores de mi vida. Conectar directamente con la música, dejarse llevar sin intermediación de nada, ser esa música mientras recorre el alma. Podrá parecer exagerado, pero lo viví así.
Todo el festival estuvo bueno y fue un contexto que llevó a ese final mágico. He visto públicos maravillosos pero el de esa noche me sorprendió: el silencio, el respeto, la conexión, los aplausos, no dar un paso atrás y esperar más sin dejar de alentar. Si no iba nunca me hubiese enterado de lo que me perdí porque aunque gaste mis palabras es inexplicable. Hasta la próxima Sigur Ros, por siempre Takk.
