I’ve listened to this band for nearly ten years and this was my first time seeing them live. It was incredibly beautiful, very emotional for me. The production value is stellar from the visuals to the vocals. It was just breathtaking at parts. It’s insane how Jonsi sounds exactly like he does on the album, his voice is chill inducing. Cannot recommend this show enough, it was perfect!

I traveled from Los Angeles to catch Sigur Ros twice in Austin, and both performances were brilliant. I was lucky enough to catch them in Santa Barbara and LA with the Philharmonic. The energy delivered from each performance was a beautiful force I’ve only encountered watching Sigur Ros. Thanks for the amazing show and experience!!

Beautiful show, the coziness of the place and acoustics were the base of an amazing experience. The light show is well designed and every seat has a different experience. The only minor thing is that I do wish they would’ve played

The lighting rig obstructed our view of most of the stage – we were front row of the mezzanine and could only barely see the show. The music was beautiful and we were lucky to spend about 10 minutes of the second set viewing the performance from straight on and it was dazzling… if you are fortunate enough to sit directly in front of the stage, this will be a life-altering performance. If you are in the unfortunate half of the audience that sits outside the line of the lighting rigs, your view will be heavily blocked and this will be a very disappointing experience. My wife *loves* Sigur Rós and had been anticipating this show for months & she was pretty broken hearted by the end.

What an incredible concert. Ever since I watched the documentary film “Heima”, I’ve been a huge fan of Sigur Ros. Watching them live at the famed Moody Theater in Austin, with all the breathtaking visuals and fabulous soundscapes, was a real, once-in-a-lifetime experience that managed to transport you to another world, another universe. Takk fyrir, Sigur Ros!

Saw them for the first time at ACL live in Austin. Wonderful performance, very polished live musicians. I did miss Kjartan or any replacement keys on some of the songs, but still a wonderful show.

I caught Sigur Rós at the Cedar Park Center back in 2013. It was such a powerful experience that I promised myself I would go see them anytime they came through Austin for the rest of their career. What my friends and I experienced on Saturday, June 10th, 2017 was nothing short of an audio/visual masterpiece. Don’t let anyone tell you that they “won’t sound as good without extra musicians”. The setlist was perfect and well-suited for the trio. I discovered that The Moody Theater is probably one of the best (if not THE best) venue in Austin. The acoustics were amazing, and the sound was absolutely state of the art. It was loud and deep and booming. The first time Jónsi kicked his guitar into overdrive on “Glósóli” was one of the most emotionally stirring moments of my life. A big, Texas-sized THANK YOU to Jónsi, Georg, Orri, and all of their roadies and technicians for a spellbinding show that I’ll never forget. And thanks to Moody Theater for being so accommodating. I am disabled and it’s difficult for me to get around. Their staff was helpful and understanding and made the night extra special.
