new t-shirts in the making

the ‘toothfaeries’ design team has finished designing new t-shirts for the upcoming tour. the toothfaeries are lukka sigurðardóttir (orri’s girlfriend) and alex somers (jónsi’s boyfriend), who have handpressed over 100 t-shirt designs in their studio in álafoss, which is conveniently situated next to lukka and orri’s apartment and sigur rós’s studio. in addition to the garment designs, toothfaeries and sigur rós have created the new album’s package design together, exchanging ideas which were used in the t-shirt designs as well. t-shirts, hoodies, polo shirts and baby garments will be sold at each of the tour’s gigs, as well as a handful of limited handmade t-shirts. no two of these limited t-shirts are the same. toothfaeries will be giving away a few very exclusive t-shirts on this site next week, so don’t miss out on that if you want to be first to wear artwork from the new album.
