the first reviews of ( ) have been popping up here and there. unsurprisingly, about a third of the reviews’ content concern the album’s untitled and how pretentious it is. rolling stone magazine gives the album four stars out of five while newsweek are more critical, stating that it “sounds more like a sad movie score than a proper album”. you can read the rolling stone article here and the newsweek article here.
