four different versions of the packaging of ( ) are being made, one for each of the following regions of the world: usa, europe, australia and japan. all four versions will be distributed in iceland. the album’s artwork in each these regions will differ from each other, there are different photos in the ( ) symbols and the spreads are also different. all artwork on the album is manipulated (by natural materials) from close-up photos that the band took of the environment around their “swimming pool” studio in álafoss (such as a pond, grass, trees, etc). here the different album covers of each region:
