the north american tour is well under way now, so i’ve put together a collection of the past concerts’ setlists, along with reviews/comments by guests. this section is located here. sigur rós isn’t bringing the string quartet with them for this tour, so unfortunately songs like hafssól, viðrar vel til loftárása and von will not be played. however, they’re now incorporating background visuals into their concerts, with video recordings of things like birds walking on telephone poles, which the band recorded themselves. also, some new song titles have been uncovered, the band is now calling untitled 2 “álafoss” (which is the name of the former swimming pool in which the band changed into their studio), and they call the nothing song “njósnavélin” (the spy machine).
