icelandic concert tomorrow

sigur rós will play in laugardalshöllin tomorrow (sunday) as part of the reykjavík mini festival which takes place this weekend. laugardalshöllin is iceland’s largest concert venue (it’s actually a “stadium” occasionally used for big concerts) and holds about 5000 people. in a recent interview with georg on icelandic radio station rás 2, he said that they would play a new song for the first time at this concert. when the band played this venue last, in august 1999, they played three songs (duet, untitled 6 & untitled 7) which have almost completely stopped appearing on their setlists.
