The most wonderful of experiences – moved to tears at the splendour of it from start to finish! X
My mind left my body for around 2 hours last night.
It was caressed, soothed, and put on another plane of existence.
Every emotion was brought forth in the most comforting way imaginable, broken down gently, and rebuilt.
Those highs tickled my ear drums with delight as I felt the ambrosia of sound enter my soul and tell me everything is going to be okay, everything you have been through and are yet to go through, will turn out okay, everything, will be okay.
My mind was returned to me but in those moments, I was weightless, I was on air, wading through gentle marshmallows before being returned to body and comfortably being shown the exit.
I slept well that night.
No words will ever sum up what I experienced in the waterfront that night
Truly an unforgettable experience, utterly captivating and beautiful from beginning to end.
Honestly it was so beautifully constructed from the way these classics were arranged for orchestra missing nothing of what made them originally so great.
The lighting and stage direction must also be given huge props. It was so immensely but maximalist in a way I can only call magic.
Takk Sigur Ros for bringing this amazing experience to Belfast
This is our second time seeing this tour – got over to London last year.
Absolutely fantastic music from SR and the Ulster Orchestra. Sublime experience and great to have SR back in Belfast, at last!

The best night of my life.. I have been listening to sigur ros since I was very little. Their albums have helped me through so much in my life.. especially Valtari. So when I heard Ekki múkk, Dauðalogn and Varðeldur I was moved to tears. Jonsi’s voice sounded even more magical live! It was incredible! It was the most perfect night of my life. It’s very hard to put the night into words as I was utterly speechless as how amazing the whole performance was. I hope sigur ros come back to Belfast again one day.. I will be there!
