Write a reviewThe Carre in Amsterdam was a great location for Sigur Ros, the acustics were perfect. The orchestra was spot on and they showed it with their music and body movements. It was a treat that they included “Ára Bátur”, but I like “All Alright” which was replaced this night. Its wonderful that they allow the Orchestra to play Avalon on their own, but would be nice for Sigur Ros to play a last piece to close the show.
This is our 9th Sigur Ros show, 6 were in 2023 in Europe and three on this tour, with tonight’s show Oct 7 will make 10 concerts in Europe.
Takk….Thanks again to Sigur Ros.

Yet another magical performance. Always enjoy to see Sigur Rós performing live on stage. Just a pity the conductor blocks the view on Jonsi handling the guitar with the bow 😉

This concert entered my top 10 by storm – from the hundreds of concerts I have seen in my entire life. From the first Dutch Sigur Rós show in 2000 (supporting Radiohead) you have struck me. This was the fifth time. To hear and see your beautiful compositions with full orchestral arrangements was sheer magic. Band and orchestra in top shape. Þakka þér kærlega fyrir – sorry, those last ones are not my own words 😉
The atmosphere was a magical one. When i closed my eyes i was back in Iceland the dark and melodic sounds capture me everytime.
