Write a reviewÁra bátur was the rowing boat that had room for everyone in the Royal Albert Hall last night. I’ve seen you fifteen times now, from Reykjavík to a dozen venues around the UK, and that was the song I always hoped to hear! Takk fyrir!
First time I saw you was in Monza, Italy, 2016. I came now from Sevilla (Spain) with my two daughters (8 and 5) to see you again. It was wonderful!! The set list, the sound, the environment. We all enjoy it a lot. ¡¡Muchas gracias!!
Sublime from start to finish in a beautiful setting. First time at the Royal Albert Hall, amazing sound. Ara Batur a beautiful addition to the first show we went to on 16th June 23 (of this tour) at the Southbank Centre. Love you guys xxx
Exquisite beginning to end; goosebumps started on the third note, with a collective transcendental euphoria experienced during the building of Ára bátur’s crescendo. A truly magical experience that none of us will forget. Wondrous setlist divinely executed by all. Big shout out to the choir!
No words can truly translate what I felt last Thursday, but the closest one would be ‘epiphany’. I could feel, hear, taste and see beauty. It was there, embracing us. Just sublime! I believe this was the closest I ever got to heaven. One of the best days of my life – and I was so in need of that. Thank you for sharing your beauty and art with us.
As my family and I entered the Hall, we were filled with incredibly wary anticipation. My Dad passed in April and he was meant to be with us.
From the very first note of the evening, the emotion felt was so bittersweet. A perfectly executed set of some other worldly music left us all feeling like my Dad was right there too. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Takk Sigur Ros 💜💜💜
My 5th time seeing the band live, 2nd time with an orchestra, but certainly the best gig thus far, by a country mile, helped in part by the magnificent venue that is the Royal Albert Hall, which is truly gorgeous and sounded amazing inside, with a rather intimate feel to the proceedings!
The band, orchestra, children’s choir were all flawless, hearing Ára Bátur was such a thrill, never been played live since its initial recording here in London at Abbey Road Studios, and Jones’s vocals just as strong and powerful as the album recordings!
A truly sublime performance and easily the best gig of my life right now, unforgettable and unparalleled in every way, just extraordinary!

When I saw these shows advertised I knew I had to be at one of them, so I travelled down from Newcastle with my daughter, and you didn’t disappoint. The perfect setting with incredible accompaniment that often threatened to raise the roof of the biggest glass domed building in the world. It was a memorable one, thanks!
