  After nearly 18 years I was able to see Sigur Ros live and was in the 4th Row for the experience. I cried….then sat stunned. Remarkable night at Radio City Music Hall.

  Finally got to see Sigur Rós! I’ve been a fan for years now and when planning my trip to NYC, I saw they were playing, I stayed an extra day in the city. No way I was gonna miss it and I’m so thankful I did. It was one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve ever been apart of. The music, the light show, the amazing stage production. I’ll definitely see Sigur Rós again, even if I’ve gotta travel. Come to Texas!!!!

  Every time I see a show it takes me away completely. The synchronicity of the music and light is so poignant and magical. The show is designed to make every person seeing it feel like they are part of what they are witnessing. I am so taken by the music and performance and tech design/execution. It’s still difficult to find the proper words other than “thank you” to everyone who makes a Sigur Ros show possible.

  I’ve waited six years for the chance to see Sigur Rós live, and words truly don’t do justice to just how beautiful and rich a performance this was. Just witnessing the energy and passion with which Sigur Rós performs, the music takes on yet a deeper meaning, let alone how truly awesome it sounded – I somehow missed Smáskífa in the past, and my eyes were tearing from how beautiful it was. I hope to relive the experience some day! Takk!

  What an amazing night. I’ve seen the band twice before, and each time is special. I have to say this was the most energetic and raw show I’ve seen, with powerful performances from each musician. The venue was amazing and even though I love seeing sigur ros perform with strings and brass, I didn’t feel like anything was lacking in this show. The sound was so full and overwhelming. I brought my partner of two years to see the band for the first time; we met when I played saeglopur in class one day and finally we got to hear it played live. I loved the new song beyond words and the setlist was the best I could have hoped for. Takk, sigur ros. That’s all I can say, because words cannot describe this show properly.

  The show changed my life. It was exactly everything I pictured it would be. The theatre was so silent during times when the music was on the quieter side that you could literally hear a pin drop. Nobody worried about getting a thousand pictures and videos on their phones- they just sat and enjoyed the music. Many people around me, myself included, found ourselves crying over how beautiful it was. I’ve been waiting for this moment for years and it couldn’t have been any better than it was. Hoping very much they’ll come back to the city in the future.

  I’ve seen Sigur Ros several times, but this concert was by far my favorite. The level of stage production was stunning, and even without the backing band members, there was nothing lost or missing from the music.
